Straight 4 have an exciting opportunity for a UI programmer to join our development team. We are looking for a proven track record of delivering successful projects, a passion for the craft, strong coding skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Level
Responsibilities
- Design and implement reliable, maintainable, and bug-free code
- Follow best practices, development processes, and coding standards
- Take ownership of UI features, and work with the feature owner to develop UI systems, menus, OSDs and HUDs
Required Experience
- Excellent knowledge of C++
- Experience with multiple UI frameworks, both proprietary and off-the-shelf
- An enthusiasm and passion for games
- Good communication skills across disciplines
Desired Experience
- Proven commercial experience within the videogames industry
- A degree in computer science or equivalent
- Familiarity with multiple engines, both proprietary and off-the-shelf
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Successful game “shipment”
